Saturday, May 21, 2011, 10:00 AM-5:00 PM
The Curley School, 493 Centre Street, Jamaica Plain, MA
The conference, which is free, will convene teachers, K-12 students, graduate students, educators and education activists to discuss issues facing our schools and communities, and to share techniques & curriculum that address social justice issues in and beyond our classrooms. At a time when education policy and debate is moving fast, and as curriculum becomes more narrow in focus, proponents of social justice education need to cultivate a strong voice.
